China Says Tibetans Need Permission To Reincarnate
The most
ridiculous news I've ever read.
A
funny take on it by Scott Adams.
I don’t think I have to tell you that Tibetan monks have enough trouble already. They sit around all day in their bathrobes chanting whatever the Tibetan words are for “I wish I had Internet, I wish I had Internet.” That has to get boring after a few decades.

Google Calendar SMS Notification in Singapore
When checking up my GCal, I somehow drifted to the notification settings. The reason I haven't used GCal extensively is because I can't be 24/7 in front of my PC to receive my reminders, right? Setting up reminders on my mobile phone makes more sense.
I am aware that GCal can send SMS notification, but I never thought that it supports Singapore, and for FREE, unlike that stupid Hotmail that charges you. Thanks to Hotmail brainwash which had given me assumption that SMS is not free, I didn't find out about this soon enough.
Only SingTel and M1 is supported though. Too bad for the green colored star users. Since I'm on M1, I immediately activated it. And by the way, Indonesia is supported too, Indosat and XL only.
Now, let's find out what other Google services can send me SMS, GMail? Apparently Twitter sends SMS globally. Too bad I have no friend there.

Going back home
What a hot night after a week of cool weather. Fortunately I'm going back to Indonesia this afternoon. Not only the weather is probably better, the AC and better bed are going to help me rest. I think I'm on the verge of burnout. I always feel tired these few months and the hot and humid weather doesn't help.
I was expecting to watch F1 on TV during my stay in Indonesia but alas, no GP for the rest of the month. So it seems like I can't watch any F1 this year. Damn you small country. No F1 on public TV? How about next year? Still no? You mean most of the people watching F1 in Marina Bay are there just for the glamor, car, and noise? Since most of them probably have never watched F1 on TV before.
And I'm going to miss 2 episodes of Prison Break, right at the last few episodes. Oh my...

McLaren is the new Ferrari
And Alonso is the new Schumacher, in term of the negatives of course.
Alonso is stripped of pole position on Hungarian GP because he was holding Hamilton back in qualifying. McLaren will not receive any championship points for this GP for what looks like purposely giving the pole to Alonso.
Sounds like Ferrari and Schumacher? I bet it is. This news made me laugh. After the spying scandal and all, is McLaren becoming evil?

War of the Words
So it has begun. Ferrari and McLaren's war of words.
Ron Dennis said
Ferrari won Australia GP with illegal car, which
Ferrari denied.
Not only that, he also
sent a VERY LONG letter to FIA president Max Mosley and Luigi Macaluso, president of the Italian Automobile Federation explaining about the whistleblowing by Stepney and the Ferrari documents, which I don't bother to read because it's TOO LONG.
To that letter,
Macaluso replied basically saying let the International Court of Appeal decide on this.
Then
Stepney denied Ron's whistleblowing claim.
Another guy who likes to comment on this is Flavio Briatore. He said
the scandal is damaging F1. Obviously. Later on he
called for McLaren to be excluded from the championship and Stepney and Coughlan to be banned for motor sport for life. He said it is based on the regulation that for intellectual property theft the punishment is exclusion.
I don't bother about the championship anymore. This is more interesting, haha..
