dropped my digicam!

damn! i dropped my canon a80 digicam by accident about 20 cm from ground.. and the body went damaged! how stupid of me. i was just playing with the strap when it suddenly fell. although it was in its soft case and it's not that high from ground, but the damage was done. the corner is not smooth anymore. when it happened, i wished i could undo it! T_T huffh.. anyway, the cam is still working well as far as i know. but the top is not tight anymore. i wonder if i can use the warranty to fix it.
now i'm thinking to sell it to upgrade to a95. someone is selling for $500... if only i can sell mine for $500 too... then it's free upgrade, hehe...

State of Fear and Da Vinci Code

State of Fear: "Once again Michael Crichton gives us his trademark combination of page-turning suspense, cutting-edge technology, and extraordinary research. State of Fear is a superb blend of edge-of-your-seat suspense and thought provoking commentary on how information is manipulated in the modern world. From the streets of Paris, to the glaciers of Antarctica to the exotic and dangerous Solomon Islands, State of Fear takes the reader on a rollercoaster thrill ride, all the while keeping the brain in high gear."

it is said on the website, the book is to be available on december 7th.
but i saw it being sold in singapore's bookstores on friday (december 3rd). but the cover is different. it's white.
i wanted to buy it, but it's big and expensive, $40+ :(
just have to wait for the paperback version.
i hope this one's good. prey was a bit disappointing for me because some of it doesn't make sense (or maybe my brain can't understand it?), though it's still pretty good overall. :)

other book on my list, da vinci code special illustrated, hehe.. it costs $48 or 49 something. damn expensive.. there are 2 versions from different publishers too. now i have to decide which version to buy by checking paper & print quality... ouwwww. i also saw some books trying to explain da vinci code, 3 of them! so i guess this da vinci book is so popular that it has to be on my have to read list. certainly i like a religion conspiracy theory, especially about christian. but most of the time they don't have a good base. judging from the popularity of da vinci code, it might have a good base and thus worth reading.
