finished reading Sofies Verden
just finished sofies verden or sophie's world. it's a book about philosophy aimed at beginners. it explains the idea of influential philosophers from
thales,
democritus,
socrates all the way to
darwin and
freud. nice book and funny at times.
a good insight into human history and how human thinks. i found some of the idea to be interesting and unheard of, but it does make sense.
one thing that has been bothering me for a long time is how the universe started.
if it is linear, in began in big bang and keep on expanding, then where does the substance come in the first place? some attribute it to god, but then where does god come from?
another theory is cyclic universe. the universe is cyclic, it has always been there, created and destroyed multiple times. i find this more acceptable, just as the smallest number is negative infinity and the largest is positive infinity, the same concept can be applied to the universe. it has been there from the time of minus infinity. but the question is, again, why is it there in the first place? what purpose does it have? why are there living beings? why is it formed like that?
maybe the human logic is flawed. afterall, we can't prove whether logic is true or false.

despite knowing that so far as i know there is no girl in visual kei band, i can't help but wondering whether aya is female or male when i saw the pv of psycho le cemu for the song gekiai merry-go-round. of course he is male. how stupid.
i'd like to see more video of this band. the para para seems interesting :)
too bad it's rare stuff. i don't know where to find it.

yesshh, end of my school?
i realized bitter truth today. hmm.. i guess my expectation is too high? though i already lowered it again and again. but still, this one is too much to take. what am i supposed to do? i guess i'll just leave it as it is for the moment. sigh.........
first day of almost freedom! can't get up early. enjoying sleep :D
last exam tomorrow, that's real last of stressful exams in life!!

i watched kill bill vol 1 japanese dvd version a few days ago. it is said that jap version is like the uncut version. anyway, it's cool. it's supposedly even cooler if i've watched most of the movie that inspires it. the massacre part is worth watching several times. i noticed one of the crazy 88 was cut in the mouth ala kakihara in ichi the killer
i hope vol. 2 is good too. i heard it has more story in it, less action.
the soundtrack is nice too. catchy. one of my favorites is The Grand Duel.

must save the moment of horror until my exam finishes. don't even preview it, especially the last part. but i have previewed some of the screens in the beginning. i guess that won't ruin the movie's enjoyment, or should i say .... horrific moments?
